'The Movement is Stronger Than Ever'

She was relatively unknown, especially on a national level. She was fourth in polling for the South Carolina gubernatorial primary. She stood for everything that Tea party conservatives stood for. She was against the establishment and stood up against the good ole boy network. After Sarah Palin endorsed her, she shot up like a rocket in the polls. Despite a vicious smear campaign against her, she continued to open up to a large lead over her opponents. She won 49% of the primary vote and just missed not having to do a runoff. In our effort to take back America, Nikki Haley adds power to our cause and immediately fills the void left by Mark Sanford.

Odds are we will have a Palinista in the state house in South Carolina. Haley has gone from last place in the early polls to favorite to win the governorship. We all like to chalk it up as a major win for Sarah Palin - and it is - but Nikki Haley is a top shelf candidate in her own right. She's a Bachmann, a Demint, a McDonnell, a Christie. She stands on her own merit with Sarah Palin and Jenny Sanford simply providing the heavy ammunition that the Palin army now has ever since Sarah Palin left that miserable job she had in Alaska so that she could build herself into the national leader that she has become.

Haley is Palin's ideological match. The philosophy is what makes them great and their execution and articulation of that philosophy is what makes them win. Robbie Brown writes:

If she wins the general election in November, Ms. Haley would be the first woman and first racial minority elected governor of South Carolina. In a speech to supporters on Tuesday night, Ms. Haley said she has challenged the status quo — but less through her age, race or gender, and more through her political views.

“We said ‘no’ to spending, we said ‘no’ to bailouts, we said ‘no’ to backroom deal-making,” she said. “We said ‘yes’ to South Carolina not just being Republican, but becoming conservative.”

By tapping into populist anger and libertarian rhetoric, Ms. Haley has also emerged as a darling of the national conservative backlash against the political establishment.

The Palin army has a new field general in South Carolina. We understand the lingo and we understand the code. So when Nikki Haley tweets "Thank you to everyone that voted today, the movement is stronger than ever!" we know what she means.

Our movement to take back that shining city on a hill took a big hit when one of our biggest field generals, Mark Sanford, deserted his post and "wandered off the Appalachian trail." Having Nikki Haley fill that position is huge. I mean super intergalactic huge. Yes, Nikki, our movement is stronger than ever. And it's only going to get even stronger from here.

Shoppers at the local supermarket were notified weeks ago that Newsweek may no longer be available on the toilet paper aisle. It will either shut down or possibly be sold to a reputable organization that will hopefully raise the level of its content to acceptable journalistic standards. All the while, The other "Charmin" of the publishing industry has been turning out hit piece after hit piece on Sarah Palin, the Tea Party movement and, well, American citizens in general. Stacy Drake sums up the story here.

On Monday, Time "NewsFeed" online edition published a piece by Kayla Webley called "Facebook Group: Plug the BP Oil Spill with Sarah Palin." Karen Allen wrote a piece that details many of the disgusting comments left by the rabid members of the group, here.

Apparently, hate sites are all the rage now. All this positive energy about taking back the shining city and revitalizing America again doesn't seem to be taking hold in this market. So I'm changing course. We're going to put up a hit site that demands that the president be tried for treason and allow commenters to post racist and hateful things about him. We are playing by their rules, right? They won the last election, right?

Can I get a "Kill Baby Kill" from the crowd? How about he "be all chopped up and stuff first?" "Can we add anyone who would vote for" him "in 2012?" "Maybe we could hold" his "head to a windmill blade." These are not my words. Read the Facebook page where I got this from.

I'm kidding of course. Unlike those who spew their Palin vitriol, I am not consumed with that type of cancer eating at my soul. Besides anything that I would do with the intention of being hateful will only turn out to be humorous since I just can't sustain that kind of burn in my heart. My humor can be cruel, though. I sometimes feel like Palin haters are like ignorant cats and I'm just dangling a yarn string in front of them. They should give out avatars with clown noses for everyone who signs up on that Facebook page or any website where they want to post hateful Palin comments. To quote the girl on the Progressive Insurance commercial "that's cold."

The only solace I can take in watching my country go down the drain is that all of those losers will go with it.

But in the meantime, I'm laughing my ass off as Democratic candidates aligned with Obama are dropping like flies in the primaries and left wing publications file for bankruptcy or suspend their print versions to go online where there is a bigger audience of loons for them to attract.

One thing about the internet is that we get to see the good, the bad and the ugly. There is a huge groundswell of support for conservatism, conservative candidates and conservative writing online. This is a good thing. But, there are also child molestors, pornography sites and of course the usual keyboard lice that comes with a free medium. If I can find joy in watching Time commit suicide, sue me. This is not an attack on people who disagree with conservatism or Sarah Palin politically. This is an attack on the pieces of sewage who can't properly express themselves.

Oh, and by the way haters, if you want to feel your own hatred while we conservatives laugh, these are the cruelest words I could throw at you:

I Sarah Palin do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Now that's how you do it, son.

Okay, we all know some of these are the same candidates that Sarah Palin has endorsed or are allies of hers. So there's nothing new here in that regard. However, it is this blogger's hope that I can raise some awareness among those who might be checking out this blog site who otherwise may never read a word I write. Hopefully readers in the states where these candidates are running will understand why it is important that they elect these people.

Sean Parnell - Alaska Governor. As a team player, Parnell has carried through with the Palin agenda since taking over the reigns since she resigned. He continues to be a strong advocate of the AGIA natural gas pipeline as well as a staunch resistor of federal intrusion into the sovereign affairs of the state. Palin left the state in good hands when she handed the helm over to him. Alaskans should reward his efforts with a full four year term in November.

Eddie Burke - Lt. Governor of Alaska. Eddie Burke has been a strong supporter of conservative values and good government in Alaska. As the voice of the afternoon on KBYR radio, Eddie championed causes and supported people who stood against the abuses of government and those who would interfere with resource development and gun rights. Eddie stood by Sarah Palin when the "arrows and bullets" were flying. Alaskans should want someone who is willing to stick his neck out on the line to defend the hometown heroine who put Alaska back on the map with her run for vice president.

Eddie is running against Jay Ramras. As great a candidate as Eddie is - and the primary reason for voting for someone is because of what they stand for and what they can deliver for the state - there is another reason to vote for Eddie. For you "lesser of two evils" voters out there, read this and tell me whether you think Ramras still deserves to be the front runner. Alaska doesn't need a Palin hating RINO waiting in the wings while a pro Palin conservative like Parnell runs the state effectively and efficiently. Until the state's ethics laws are changed, you cannot take the chance that the crazed loony left may not want to "do it again" to Parnell just so they can stick it to Palin one more time. There is no longer a place for Palin Derangement Syndrome in Alaska politics. Ramras must go.

Joe Miller - Alaska Senate. In her usual stance against business as usual, Sarah Palin has endorsed a commonsense conservative to run against Lisa Murkowski in the primary. Miller's commitment to limited government and a strong national defense will serve the state well. Also, given the fact that he is not entrenched with the Washington elite nor has he "drank the Potomoc water," Miller will defend the state's sovereignty by not only opposing legislation that is not in its best interests, but also by not taking earmarks which have long been the sleight of hand used by Alaskan legislators on both sides of the aisle in the past to convince voters they were bringing home the bacon when in reality they were just playing ball with the fat cats in Washington and enslaving the state to federal programs and strings.

There is also sort of another reason to vote for Joe Miller. Lisa Murkowski completely blew it when she criticized Sarah Palin for resigning the governorship. By not standing up for a fellow Republican at a time when the loony left was running roughshod over the state, Murkowski demonstrated that she was an elitist insider who could pose as a conservative but not really act like one. Regardless of her personal feelings or resentments about Palin's defeating her father for governor two and a half years ago, Murkowski could have been a pro and just avoided becoming a target of the growing pro-Palin movement. She also could have taken a stand on behalf of conservatism and attacked the left wing ethics violation filers with a little more zest than she did in criticizing Palin.

Nikki Haley - South Carolina Governor. Nikki Haley is our next political crush. And it's not just because she is attractive. She is an outsider who is looking to shake up the good ole boy network and clean up the system. Party insiders in both parties fear her because she can do what Palin did in Alaska - get the corruption out and get the will of the people back in. She is serious. She is gutsy. She looked right in that camera and said with firm resolve that she has been faithful to her husband. She effectively took on and defeated the smear campaign that was ramped up against her. Those who are part of the corruption fear the most from someone like Haley and they will do anything to stop her. That tells you right there why she should be elected.

When Mark Sanford broke my political heart, did I ever think I'd find ideological love again in South Carolina? You betcha.

Michele Bachmann - Minnesota Congress. Speaking of political crushes, Bachmann surged as a conservative leader as the Tea Party movement grew and the GOP was digging in to battle the big government policies of the Obama administration. She is the ideological equivalent of a Jim Demint, but because she is a woman it seems the left likes to pick on her a lot more. That's good. Because that means she's effective and that means she's hitting a nerve. Bachmann stands up for what she believes in. If she ruffles a few feathers, so be it. Nancy Pelosi has put a target on Bachmann's back and it's up to the good people of Minnesota to stand up for Michele and not let Pelosi determine the outcome of the election in the 6th congressional district.

Carly Fiorina - California Senate. Compelling arguments can be made as to why Chuck Devore should be the candidate. However, like J.D. Hayworth, Devore is the right guy at the wrong time. Carly Fiorina has the conservative credentials needed to be an outstanding Senator and has a strong network of supporters in both the business and political communities to be an effective leader. This is California where someone like Fiorina has to walk that "fence." As such, she has been unfairly branded as a RINO by those who don't want her to get the nomination. The fact of the matter is she can win; Devore can't. There may come a day when the electorate of California may see the economic benefits of conservativism and give Devore the reward he deserves, but the fact that Tom McClintock is not the current governor tells me that California just quite isn't there yet.

After seeing how Chris Christie is performing in New Jersey, one shouldn't be as concerned about how a "mainstream" Republican can rise above it after the election in more liberal states. Carly is a team player who knows how to play ball in California's political climate yet who can navigate the system to the benefit of conservatism and the people of her state. She may not totally pass the litmus test in some far right circles, but for the rest of us, this is a really good deal especially given California standards. And of course, Boxer has to be defeated. So for you voters of the "lesser of two evils," please remember that Carly is not running so she can demand that someone call her "Senator." She's running so that she can help her state.

We conservatives are building our leadership team for 2012 by electing the right candidates in 2010. Sarah Palin is building that leadership team by endorsing candidates like these. When the time comes to take the reigns of power in 2012, the government we need will be more than half built by then. By getting these strong commonsense conservatives in place, Palin is in fact affecting change without a title. Palin's stamp on and influence in how this country will be run after 2010 will be falling into place. It's pure genius.

Joyce Pines of Kalamazoo Gazette Beclowns Herself By Criticizing Palin for Using the Media Effectively

Joyce Pines cracks me up with her latest hit piece on Sarah Palin which jabs at her because "she may hate the media, but she sure knows how to use it." The "writer" tells us "If it wasn't for Sarah spreading the word, most of us would not have known that McGinniss is writing a book about her." In other words, Palin should have zipped her lip or her laptop cover and this would not be a big deal. Instead, Pines complains that Palin's Facebook post was designed to "garner the sympathy of her fan base, while simultaneously fanning the fire that keeps reporters covering her every move." Does Pines' twisted logic infer that anyone who is a public speaker, an author, a documentarian and a potential presidential candidate not promote themselves or should only Sarah Palin not be allowed to do this?

So we would never know that McGinniss was writing a book about her? Was he planning on releasing it in secret? Was it something he was going to hand out to his friends and tell them to not let the media know? Is there a members only top secret password protected section of Amazon.com designed for books that we will never know about? Or should we have waited until out of the blue a book outlining all kinds of zany lies and hits on the former governor got some traction lets say around (let's pick an arbitrary time at random) the time Palin announces her candidacy for president before she mentioned it?

Anyone worth their salt in the public relations business knows that if someone is going to do a hit on you, you better get ahead of them. Disproving negatives are tougher to do after they are released than before. In this case, Palin is wisely preparing the public for the hit piece that McGinniss plans on penning from the back deck of the house next door to her. Yes, Ms. Pines, "her protestations of harassment are just another example of her brilliant handling of the media." And the trouble with that is what?

And we all know how much difficulty Palin has with gaining her fans' sympathy and fanning the fires necessary to keep her in the media spotlight. She must be having more trouble than Charlie Crist from what Pines is saying.  Maybe Pines thinks that liberal newspapers and blogs are not pounding out lie after lie after lie about Palin and she has to do something to garner sympathy from her fan base.

I guess it's just unfortunate, Ms. Pines, that Palin doesn't have a bright spotlight with no off switch permanently erected over her by an already overly obsessed media. The things no name people will do to get media attention! I mean, why would you worry about a guy who has written hit pieces about you, hangs out with Jesse Griffen and clearly hates you moving in next door?

McGinniss is right about one thing. "I think it’s probably a lesson for the American people of the power Palin has to incite hatred..." Yeah, that Sarah is a real hate monger. I can see how being a loving wife, a mom, and representing goodness, traditional values, patriotism, rugged individualism and a belief in God and country can really piss people off. Joe's right, too, about that exercising of one's First Amendment rights on Facebook. "I don’t think there is any place for it in America."

There's nothing wrong with the guy who wrote this hit piece in the (of course) now defunct Conde Nast Portfolio Magazine which was debunked here and here moving in next door to Sarah Palin so he can write yet another hit piece. Nah, saying you moved next door to the subject you're smearing isn't manipulating the press for self promotion. I'm sure the publisher never even thought about using that as a selling point for his book anyway. Besides, look at the way Palin is using this guy as a prop for her own self promotion.

I wonder if Pines ever considered the angle that Palin had McGinniss move out there so she could stage this?

I'm sure Pines would understand if Palin didn't self promote herself and just allowed the media to cover her any way they want. We saw how the McCain campaign's strategy of "take public funding and get free coverage in the media" thing worked out. How dare Palin try to control her image and protect it and her family from liars, hate mongers and smear merchants!

It's pretty funny that Pines would reference Joe McGinniss accusing Palin of using a tactic that the left and the media have used repeatedly to try to destroy her. "Her tactic was first to demonize, then to defeat." That's just so wrong - as wrong as it was in the 2008 presidential election when the left did it to her? I thought the liberals made the rules now. What, we're not allowed to play?

We also know the media would never unleash lets say 11 fact checkers for Going Rogue or prowl Wasilla looking for librarians ordered to burn books or rape victims forced to pay for their rape investigation kits. Nor would anyone think of filing 26 frivolous ethics complaints. Goodness, that would clearly fit McGinniss' description of unleashing the "Hounds of Hell" wouldn't it?

You know what the real problem is? The liberals who used to smear and slander Palin with impunity are getting more and more blowback. You will notice that whenever anyone disses Palin now they get smacked. Hounds of hell? Nah, we're just ordinary barbarians standing up for what's right against a crazed loony liberal media machine.

Liberals are great at dishing it out but they can't take it. They bully Sarah. They smear her and they lie about her. Yet, when she smacks back, they all go home crying to their mommies (or in Pines' case, her editor and her readers). My advice to people like Joyce Pines and those who don't like it when Sarah uses her Facebook page to take issue with something: GET USED TO IT. As long as the lies, smears and slander continue so will the "slavering and barking and growling."

The Media and Palin: It's Become An Unhealthy Obsession

This morning's NBC interview with Joe McGinniss proves that the mainstream (lamestream) media continues with their unhealthy obsession over Sarah Palin. Their omission of Sarah Palin's statement responding to his appearance also demonstrates their continued bias. She sent the statement rather than consent to an interview because she didn't want this to become a media circus that used her as a ratings pawn. Palin obviously wanted to state her concerns in her original posting on Facebook and move on. She did elaborate on the posting on Glenn Beck's and Sean Hannity's radio shows, but took the position that it was just another obstacle that she would need to overcome if she was going to work for the conservative cause. Yet, the media continues to go after her and give McGinniss a forum to explain why he, a notorious Palin hit-piece writer, moved in next door to her. The obsession is beyond the sick.

We know why Joe McGinniss moved in next door to the Palins. He wants to write a hit book on her to coincide with all the other liberal hit books that the left believes will be necessary to discredit her leading into the 2012 presidential primaries. Now that the smear technique is as obvious as a sonic boom, the left has abandoned their hidden agenda of having mainstream media people pen anti-Palin op eds and critique her "failures" during interviews in the 2008 presidential campaign or play up the frivolous ethics complaints that were filed against her while governor of Alaska. Instead, they're just letting it all hang out.

They know we know they hate her. So what. They just want to keep fanning the flames hoping people will be rattled enough to not stiffen their spines and stand up for her. It's a shame to hear even an ardent Palin supporter say she shouldn't run in 2012 "not because Palin is incapable of being an impactful politician, but because she has been profoundly hindered by the left's hateful and perplexing obsession with demeaning and destroying her at all costs."

That's not "we win, you lose." That's more like "we give up, you win."

Why do you think they are attacking her supporters now as "dumb?" It's no longer the media versus Palin. It's the media versus Palin and her supporters. And with this, they are finding new resolve because some supporters or potential supporters are not as strong as Sarah is. If you can't kill the queen bee then kill all the drones instead and cut off its source of food.

If anything, this should strengthen our resolve to see to it that she does win. If Americans who are sick of big government and radical liberalism are afraid of the arrows than we cannot possibly be strong enough to govern. We, not Sarah Palin, need to grow a set and realize that this woman will go to the mat for us. We should be willing to do the same for her.

She could have went home to Wasilla and collected hefty speaking and writing fees and abandoned us. She didn't. There is a stalker living next door. Daily, Palin is rhetorically accosted by a hostile media who have nothing on her except for the fact that they disagree with her politics. She was beaten to a pulp by Alaska Bloggers, yet she got up, recovered and went on to take the reigns of her movement. Her followers were already there and she got back up after her resignation and busted her ass going cross country to meet them.

Did she make money along the way? Yeah. But every true blue Sarah supporter who plunked down their hard earned cash for her book knew that it would only make her stronger and only better position her financially to pay the bills caused by the bullcrap that the left threw at her in Alaska. Sarah wasn't cashing in on us, she was upping the ante on them.

Did the revolutionaries give up because they were afraid of being branded traitors by the British media or because tories would say mean things about them at cocktail parties?

This media obsession is going to result in one of two things: either the obsession will lead to her death, politically speaking, or it will turn her into a modern day heroine after she metaphorically burns them in their beds. We watch as Sarah, once metaphorically bloodied and beaten by the media monstrosity, now comes at them strong and ready. She is not the damsel in distress that Steve Schmidt and some of McCain's campaign operatives would not help. She is a wild eyed grizzly who has survived one beating and is now being pushed to the limits again.

It is not a healthy thing that's happening. This battle between Sarah Palin and the mainstream media is going to have a hyperbolically bloody ending. Someone is going to get hurt. We need to all stand up for what's right and realize why Sarah continuously cries out to us on her Facebook page. She needs us to know what they are doing to her.

Credibility is the only "ability" we cannot give ourselves. For Sarah, it must come from others recognizing the truth in what she says. She needs us to give her the credibility that will give her words weight. In return, she will get our country back for us. But only if we are courageous enough to help her.

Ronald Reagan Threatens "The Narrative" Again

This blogger believes the most important contribution that I can make to the conservative cause is to be one of many numbers - numbers which must grow in order to achieve our ultimate goal: returning America back to the people who truly understand the Constitution and what has to be done to make our nation great and exceptional again. As one of many who do this by educating our readers, each other and non-believers simultaneously, I'm not only comforted, but excited to see that there are so many out there who see what I see and what Ronald Reagan saw. Which is why, when reading Josh Painter's latest post, I couldn't help but be blown away by the keen and exact picture xMadMike drew - a picture in words that could not be clearer if it was placed on a 1000 mega-pixel flat screen TV.

Painter's reference to xMadMike's post brings it out front and provides us with an important educational read with a precise explanation of the dangerous narrative which liberals and progressives have been trying to get Americans to believe since the beginning of their movements. If you read The Shadow Party and you also look at The 50 Year Strategy, it all makes sense. The liberals, progressives and radicals have been "fundamentaly transforming America" for years by infiltrating the media, the pop culture and the halls of power.

The historical parallels between Ronald Reagan and Sarah Palin are glaring. While Sarah Palin is her own person, understanding her requires one to understand Ronald Reagan. Having come into adulthood at the beginning of Reagan's presidency at the same time as Sarah Palin (we are the same age), it is our common view of Reagan's greatness which is the connection between me the supporter and Sarah the leader.

No one sets out to be the "next Reagan." But they do set out to be like him. Reagan created the blueprint for keeping America strong both domestically and internationally. Many in the Republican party have strayed from that blueprint. As such, they have suffered the wrath of the people the way Bush the father and Bush the son have. This is not to say they didn't believe in Ronald Reagan - they did. They just did not execute on Reagan's philosophy properly. Those who have stuck closest to the Reagan philosophy have had the most political success.

If people are to be their own people and if someone is going to chart a political course in the modern era, simply copying cold war theory and supply side economics is not going to save the GOP. It's the full and total embracement of Reagan's spirit which contributes to how well one can do in today's political climate. Developing the same philosophical, ethical and intellectual core that Reagan had and demonstrating that in your own unique way while applying it to modern problems and solutions is the key to Sarah Palin's greatness.

Americans want a leader that will motivate them to act and make them feel confident and patriotic. They thought they had that in Barack Obama. With his fiery speeches and "messianic" promises, Americans were excited that the horrors of war and economic uncertainty could be behind us. But when Obama failed to deliver on that excitement, rather than return to the usually cynical point of apathy and political disenchantment, Americans rose up and formed the Tea party movement. They embraced a positive message of real change and set out to do what the Founders of our nation would have wanted them to do: become self reliant and unite behind the cause of freedom.

The movement was built bottom up. Yet the philosophy and vision are definitely top down from our Founders through Reagan. There are some still uncertain about Palin's future in this movement. Having been scorched by the failures of Obama, having had their hearts broken by the falling of Mark Sanford and having become generally skiddish of a mainstream media that continues to vilify Palin to this day, it's hard to expect those so jilted to succumb to "political love" again.

But, I have seen it in the eyes of the people at the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis in 2008. I have read it in the writings of Palin supporters since the day she was chosen to run on the ticket. I have heard Sarah Palin herself weave the spirit and fabric of Reagan's existence into her own Alaskan accented style. I was not looking that hard for the next Reagan because I never thought I'd find him (or her).

In fact, I questioned whether comparing her to Reagan was political blasphemy at first.

And its because of this, I know it's not wishful thinking. I was not a "political romantic" in 2008. In fact, I was quite the opposite. I was very cynical. I was very demoralized. I felt as if I was watching the beginning of the thousand years of darkness Reagan warned us of. Each Republican candidate had a component of Reagan, but not one was Reagan. I understood that and I've been accepting that since 1988.

When Palin hit the scene, my first reaction wasn't "oh wow, this is the one we've been waiting for." My first reaction was "this is too good to be true, where's the gotcha?" I could have crumbled like a lawn chair the minute the media started smearing her. I could have cut and run when Troopergate hit. Instead, I researched her. If anything, the media lost its credibility in being able to sway me when I realized what they were saying was totally untrue. Palin won me over. The media just helped harden my resolve with their lies and smears.

I watched her speech in Minneapolis on TV and was just as mesmerized as those in the crowd not because I wanted to be mesmerized, but because I saw Ronald Reagan's spirit fill that room. I saw a look in the people's eyes that I have only seen when Reagan spoke. I saw a look in Todd's eyes that I have only seen in Nancy's.

I will probably get beat on for writing this post. But let's be real. If it took an outsider who took on the establishment, was smeared by the media and who rose to power by tenacity and a truly benevolent desire to save his country from the madness of liberalism, which the Carter administration came to symbolize, how could it be any different for what's required to save this country from the madness of the radicalism that the current Obama administration symbolizes?

Some sweat Palin's viability in a national election. The media has figured out that even if we know they lie, they are still able to place enough doubts in the peoples' heads that they may not pick Palin to be the GOP nominee and spare them the threat of having their liberal "narrative" destroyed. If the media squeaks by with a Gingrich, Huckabee or Romney presidency, they will consider that a win. Opposition is easier to deal with than destruction.

It is important to point out that people felt the same way about Ronald Reagan, even after he got the nomination in 1980. It wasn't until after the "There you go again" debate on September 24, 1980, that those who were not dedicated followers began to really take him seriously. Just as today's GOP insider elitists complain that we can't put a hockey mom from Wasilla at the top of the ticket, so yesterday's GOP insider elitists fretted about doing the same with a B grade movie actor.

It should give those skeptical of Palin's chances something to think about. If the media can bash you and make fun of you for starring in a movie with a chimpanzee and you can still make it to the White House, seeing "Russia from my house" shouldn't be that big of a deal considering Palin never actually said that.

Let's just hope Palin doesn't cut it as close as Reagan did. Winning over the people just a mere six weeks away from the election is not my idea of keeping my blood pressure low or my fingernails long. Recognize that not everyone is going to see what Palin supporters see right away. Palin is working hard to convince them and I believe she will. I just don't know how long its going to take and how much damage Barack Obama is going to have to do to the country before the fence sitters finally get up and say "give the lady a try."
