Unemployed Americans For Sarah Palin

Take it from a guy who lived large during the Reagan years. Jobs were plentiful and the capital market ran like an open faucet. The sky was the limit. Today, jobs are scarce and the capital market faucet barely drips. From the new reality that is Obama's America today comes a new class of voter (a new demographic if you will): the unemployed.

I brought up Reagan because it's important to work with a frame of reference. Knowing what I know about Sarah Palin, I don't see why she couldn't bring this country to the type of prosperity we saw when Ronaldus Maximus was president. I explain it all here, here and here.

In forging a winning coalition, there is a large and growing swath of voters that can be courted. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 13.9 million Americans are officially unemployed. According to Gallup, the Unemployment / Underemployment rate is 18.3%. According to The Huffington Post, there are nearly 5 million more who aren't even being counted in these numbers. If I had to give you an honest rough estimate (and not lie to you like the government is lying to you), I'd have to tell you that there are about 25 million Americans either unemployed or underemployed. That's a lot of voters.

Will all those people vote for Sarah Palin? No. Should they all vote for Sarah Palin? Yes. Ronald Reagan created 16.1 million jobs between 1981 and 1989. Now ask yourself, is something like this possible again if a President Palin removes regulatory burdens for businesses, reforms the tax code, reforms entitlements, repeals Obamacare and opens up energy drilling and exploration (where our real wealth is currently stored)? You friggin betcha it is.

It's time to get the message out to the millions of Americans who have lost their jobs and homes because of the moronic policies of our leaders in Washington that if they channel their anger and their desire to restore America the right way, they can be a driving force behind ending the Obama sickness that has befallen our great nation.

The cure for Obama sickness is Sarah Palin.

A fellow unemployed blogger, Kunta Evans, writes:
I can only speak for myself in this although I'm sure I'm not alone by saying that I firmly believe not just anyone else other than President Obama "will do". This coming election isn't about an alternative but about THE alternative. And you, Ms. Palin, are THE... antithesis and THE anecdote all at the same time.. I don't pretend to elevate you to an unreasonably high status...I simply see that you are uniquely equipped to lead us during a time perhaps like no other. You see clearly when others don't. The other so-called contenders simply don't stack up. All of us who aren't blinded by special interests, ivory tower theoreticals and lefty MSM bias see this for what it is.
Neither of us want to place the burden of our problems on the shoulders of Governor Palin. But, we believe strongly that she can deliver the type of leadership as president that would create the kind of environment of prosperity that we Americans have come to count on as we take responsibility for our own personal situations.

All we are asking is for the government to get out of the way, stop screwing up our lives with their idiotic decisions and to let the free market operate the way its supposed to. Remove government's heavy hand and its bureacratic cogs from our economic engine and the millions of Americans who are going through what Kunta and I are going through will be able to find jobs on our own.

They key to ending this Obama nation is to vote him out and replace him with a real leader in Sarah Palin. We'll do the rest.
